| Close Knit is the friendly neighborhood knitting and crochet shop located in the heart of Northeast Portland in the Alberta Arts District. We feature Blue Sky, Spud and Chloe, Rowan, Manos, Malabrigo, Madelinetosh, Classic Elite, Cascade, Scrumptious, and much more. The shop hosts two events weekly for our knitting and crochet neighborhood: “Knitting and Cocktails” on Monday nights from 8-10pm at our neighbors “Cruzroom” and “Open Knit Night” at Close Knit Wednesday evening from 6-10 pm. |

Rose City Yarn Crawl Events:
- All Weekend: Each day of the Rose City Yarn Crawl, the first 10 purchases of the day will also receive a free door prize.!!
- All Weekend: When you visit and enter your chance to win the Close Knit Rose City prize basket, you will also be entered into a Blue Sky Alpacas raffle to win a special yarn prize!
- All Weekend: Blue Sky Alpacas trunk show featuring Royal Petits yarn and designs. You will find these to be the most charming classic one and two skein projects!
- All Weekend: Blue Sky Alpacas trunk show featuring their new glamorous designs knitted and crocheted with the oh so glamorous luxury yarn Metlico.
- All Weekend: Classic Elite Yarns trunk show featuring Mountaintop Chalet.
- All Weekend: Manos del Uruguay trunk show featuring Maxima yarn. This yarn inspired us to create our 2013 Rose City Yarn Crawl design, the “St. Johns Slouch”. Knitted with just one skein of Manos Maxima, this design is sure to please the slouchy hat wearer!
- All Weekend: Scrumptious Trunk Show from our friends at Lantern Moon.
- Saturday, March 2nd: Teresa Ruch, local Portland designer & yarn dyer, will be showing off her lovely tencel and bamboo yarns and finished creations in the most amazing vivid hand dyed colors.
