Pearl Fiber Arts specializes in quality yarns and fibers from the Northwest and beyond. If you like local products, there’s an entire wall of the shop devoted to locally hand-dyed yarns.Spinners and felters will appreciate the selection of hand-dyed fibers as well as the drawers full of fiber sold by the ounce.

A variety of other locally-made items are available here, too, including Shaker boxes and yarn suzies to keep your yarn under control as you stitch. Schacht spinning wheels are sold here and you’ll find fanciful coasters and mugs from the Thomas Joseph line, as well.

From beyond the Northwest, you’ll find an array of Shepherd’s Wool from Michigan, Mountain Meadows Wool from Wyoming, and Ewe Ewe Yarns Wooly Worsted, among other lovely brands.

Thursday, February 27th: Local dyer Sarah from Bumblebirch Yarns will be here with a trunk show on Thursday. While we always have some of Sarah’s yarns in stock, she’ll be introducing a new colorway, made special just for us. We’ll have some on hand for the rest of the crawl, too, but if you want to meet Sarah, make plans to visit on Thursday.

All weekend:

  • A stunning array of colorful yarn and fiber will be on hand from Alexandra’s Crafts all four days of the crawl. Alexandra herself will be in the shop too, so come and meet the dyer! In addition to the yarns we always carry from Alexandra, she’s introducing a little something new. You’ll have to stop by to see what! Alexandra’s colors are vibrant and unique. We’ll have everything from sock yarn to sparkle to thick-and-thin bulky weights. The hard part is picking which color to add to your stash!
  • Ceramic buttons, locally made, lots of whimsical designs! Candace will be bringing us a whole lot of buttons and pins from her studio and they’ll be available all weekend long. We always have some of her buttons in stock, but the selection will be much larger for the crawl.
