Wool ‘N Wares is the oldest yarn shop in the Portland area and we have a tradition of carrying a wide selection of yarns and fibers. Whether you’re an experienced knitter, or learning your first stitch, Wool ‘N Wares is a bright, cheerful place to touch and feel all the beautiful yarns, receive expert instruction, and share ideas with fellow fiber fanatics.

If you’re looking for a specific yarn, need help with a project, or just want to sit and knit/crochet/spin with some friendly folks, stop by and see us at Wool ‘N Wares. We are located at 21580 Willamette Drive, West Linn, Oregon 97068, we have lots of parking, cozy seating and we are always ready to help you! We’re now open six days a week: Monday through Friday, 11-5:30 and Saturday 11-4p. We carry an expanded selection of your favorite brands like: Berroco, Blue Sky Alpaca, Cascade, Lamb’s Pride, Malabrigo, Misti Alpaca, Pepperberry Knits, Plymouth Encore, Rowan, Shepherd’s Wool, Spud and Chloe and The Fiber Company. We also feature hard-to-find yarns and fibers from independent dyers such as Knitted Wit, Black Trillium, Delicious Yarns, Huckleberry Knits, and Greenwood Fiberworks.

Shepherdess Jan McMahon will be sharing Ruby, a ewe, and her two ewe lambs, Calico Kate and Bonny Lass.

Michele Powell makes her closures for scarves and shawls from natural stone which she likes to call “Rock ‘N More Accents”.

Miss Purl Presents Great Handmade Stitch Markers!!!! If you have not seen her work, you don’t want to miss this!

Carl Herndon Spindles and Fibers, All Day
Judy and Carl Herndon began with a small handful of Pygora and Nigerian goats. The herd now has grown to more than forty, including their miscellaneous mascot, Petey a Lamoncha wether, who regularly stands guard over the flock. Judy is an avid spinner and knitter and to complement this, Carl began using his talents as a lifelong wood turner to produce complementary accessories that are works of art in and of themselves.

One of a Kind Buttons, All Day
Buttons are made of terracotta, stoneware or porcelain clay. Each button is fired twice with 1 to 3 coats of glaze on them. No two buttons are exactly alike. The designs are mostly my drawings I have made into stamps, and other textured stamps.

Transportation

We are just off I-205 at exit 8, you want to go North (towards Lake Oswego) on Hwy 43/Willamette Drive. We are about 3/4 of a mile down Hwy 43/Willamette Drive on the right side. It is a strip mall, called Bolton Plaza. If you are coming from Lake Oswego, we are about 5 miles from Avenue A at Hwy 43.

We are located on bus route 35.
